Position: Azure Developer/Lead

Mode of hire- Contract/full time

Location - Bentonville, Arkansas

Mandatory Skills

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the technology and networking field
3+ years of strong experience with Azure cloud services
Should have experience and understanding of large scale application development projects (including key coding skills and practices) required
Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights,  collaborate and share with the technical community
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux Server and database administration & Cloud Provisioning
Strong knowledge of Azure, including PaaS and IaaS architectures.
Strong Knowledge of networking engineering, including DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers, etc.
Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model
Proven background in the design and implementation of large scale, global, complex custom application development systems (e.g., high transaction volumes
Should have a working knowledge of architecture disciplines including application, database, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture. Capable of technical deep dives into infrastructure, databases, and applications as needed, yet cognitively agile enough to have strategy discussions with leadership team
Create proof-of-concepts to demonstrate viability of solutions under consideration
Should have a capability to ensure that all cloud solutions follow security and compliance controls, including data sovereignty.
Deliver cloud platform architecture documents detailing the vision for how Azure infrastructure and platform services support the overall application architecture; socialize and review with software, database, and testing engineers for acceptance.
Deep domain expertise of cloud application development solutions (e.g. PaaS, Serverless, API Management), container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry), continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins,  Azure for DevOps, Chef, Puppet, VSTS, Bamboo, Jenkins, Microsoft TFS, TeamCity, etc, web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM), experience on the following technologies : Java, Springboot, Node.js, JSON, JBPM,  Python, Angular, MySQL, React; breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends required
Drive long-term platform adoption by helping customers to develop cloud native projects (e.g. Serverless, Open shift, Service Fabric), supporting them to make the appropriate technical choices and infusing coding practices
Must understand the Agile methodology and have worked on a Scrum team.
Experience of practical implementations of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools using industry best practice and client  standards.
Drive and support system reliability, availability, scale, and performance activities
Direct, hands-on experience with DevOps and release management tools and Provide consultative support to the DevOps team for production incidents
