Job Description :
Seeking a SharePoint Administrator to manage all aspects of the Client SharePoint environments, including design, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security. This position plays an integral part in the development of strategies for optimal use of SharePoint within the organization. The SharePoint Administrator must be able to work under general supervision. Position is expected to cooperate with other personnel and workgroups, to practice ongoing self-development and demonstrate behaviors that are aligned with the client''s vision, mission and values.

Under the general direction of the Web Development Manager, the SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for providing on-premises SharePoint support to 50,000 plus system-wide faculty and staff as well as the external facing SharePoint system for client website.

Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- A minimum of two years professional experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft SharePoint certification desired

TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture
- Experience working with SharePoint Enterprise 2010, 2013 and 2016
- Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2012/2014
- Solid understanding of Active Directory and SharePoint command line parameters and able to administer, troubleshoot, and gather data using PowerShell commands
- In depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 and 2016
- Solid knowledge of web performance, monitoring tools and operational procedures
- Experience with third-party database Backup and Recovery tools (ex. AvePoint, Veem)
- Experience with third-party remote blob solutions (ex. Metalogix)
- Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET Framework, MS SQL Server, InfoPath, Workflow, Subversion/VisualSVN, PowerShell and SharePoint Designer
- Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript, jQuery)
- Experience in analyzing error and event logs to detect trends or anomalies that could impact system performance
- Experience in federated authentication frameworks
- Familiar with responsive web design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio) is required.

- Ability to assist in trouble-shooting, including quickly identifying problems and acting appropriately
- Able to develop practical and thorough solutions to address all aspects of identified problems
- Identifies problems and uses appropriate sources to research technical problems

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS
- Ability to track and document information between multiple parties
- Experience in coordinating resource requirements

- Ability to schedule and prioritize in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
- Demonstrates self-motivation and ownership of assigned work
