Job Description:
EXPERIENCE
More than 7 years of IT experience in operations and system management tasks
More than 5 years’ proven experience with administering File Shares and Microsoft Active Directory and related technologies (i.e. – WINS, DFS, PowerShell, etc
More than 3 year experience supporting a globally environment and migrations
Experience in the area of Identity and Access Services
Proven capability and experience in leading direct or indirect reports
Excellent understanding of AD and File Servers
Excellent customer service/focus skills
Strong understanding of business requirements
Working within a serviced based organization with a customer facing role
Strong customer facing and relationship management skills
Familiar with qualified infrastructures
Capability to think in terms of industrial value chains and to manage the service end-to-end (from sourcing to pricing, from global to local
Experienced in coordination and in directing service providers
High level of technical skills in the area of Server based Computing –Windows (Client/Server), Scripting, SQL Database
Knowledgeable in overall infrastructure environments including networking, firewalls, windows 2000/2003/2008, including key components), including Active directory, Windows automated build and deployment as well as support tools such SCCM
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily operations of the Home Drives (H) and Share Folders (G,I) together with DSF management and global File Share infrastructure area, its delivery in accordance with customer Service Level Agreements, to Novartis IT Standards and in line with industry best practice in support of on-going operations and projects.
Act as a central point of contact within the File Servers migrations to Global Data Center. Support migration to cloud technology and upgrades Windows 2003, 2008, and 2016 with Windows team.
Act as a central point of contact within the offshore area for Data Management for File Sharing and DSF links
Help to define standards and policies for new and existing File Servers related technologies
Provide 3rd level support for the File Services (FS) and have overview of supporting components (i.e. – AD, DFS, NetApp, Wintel, File Servers, NetApp, etc.
Provide onboarding and trainings for 2nd level support (HCL)
Helping stand up a new platform to manage the File Shared Services.
