Job Description:
The candidate will be a Sr. Developer developing Web APIs and work on web applications using Java technologies and a combination of server and client side technologies. The candidate will be part of the development team developing specified solutions in accordance with approved specifications and will work on projects of various magnitudes.
Responsibilities
Thorough understanding of requirements and business knowledge
Ability to communicate with Client effectively and directly when needed
Follow best practices while coding
Stay updated with current technologies and coding methodologies
Should be a solution provider (provide end to end solution)
Should appreciate the Agile methodology
Should be competent to manage working in tight schedules
Desired Candidate profile :
3-6 years of industry experience in Java
Good Experience in Core Java, Struts, Spring Framework
Good experience in one database like Cassandra, CouchDB, MySql etc.
Good experience in Web services, Restful services using Axis / Apache CxF / Jersey
Good Experience with any one of the Source controls like SVN
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in setting up application servers, trouble shooting skills required
Should have done projects using Agile methodology
Should be self-motivated and Smart working
Candidate should have excellent communication skills both oral and written
Should be willing to learn
Should be B.E, B.Tech, MCA, M.Sc. qualified
Primary Technical Skills :
Java, J2EE
Spring 3.0
Web services (RESTful & SOAP)
MySQL
JSP , Servlets
Apache CXF, Axis, Jersey or any other Webservices framework
Maven
Additional Job Details:
Knowledge in Go Lang is preferred
Knowledge in Dev Ops tool like Docker is preferred
Good to have knowledge about Elastic Search, Kibana, rsyslog, Docker, Redhat linux, redis, GoCD technologies
