Job Location:- Norfolk, VA
Open Position:- 1
Pay Rate:- $55/hr.
5 or more years of professional testing experience, at least 3 of which includes playing a senior role on a Section 508 test team.
Must have Knowledge of WCAG2.0 (A & AA
Must have experience using JAWS Screen Reader and experience with any additional Assistive Tools (AT) will be a plus (i.e. NVDA, Dragon, ZoomText, Voice Over etc
Must have experience in manual keyboard testing techniques.
Must have experience in testing MS Word, PDF, Excel and various other documents for Section 508 compliance.
Must have experience in Agile best practices.
Ability to play a senior role in the implementation and maintenance of internal quality control standards.
Excellent writing skills to document 508 issues (with references to the appropriate Section 508 compliance standards
Experienced in presenting complex information to audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge of Section 508 standards and testing techniques.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the client and vendors to explain Section 508 issues identified by the team.
Will be responsible for creating SOP and Section 508 Checklist based on the WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria.
Train team members in WCAG 2.0 standards.
Accessibility test experience using Voice Over on Mac OSx platforms is preferred.
Experience in Mobile application testing (iOS) is a preferred.
Experience with C#, JAVA, .NET, web development, etc., desirable but not required.
S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical degree.
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong ability to multi-task
