Job Description:
We are partnering with a respected company in Minneapolis to find an SAP Applications Analyst in the Procurement, inventory & Planning/Production supply chain space throughout the implementation, support, and enhancement.
Understand business needs and translate the understanding into a form that leads to the creation and/or composition of better process and/or technology solutions in the SAP SAP PP modules always aligned with the Global template.
Advice business teams on process improvements in above mentioned process streams when transforming process functions from legacy systems to SAP ensuring best practices and to create a sustainable solution for success.
Work closely with business to build/integrate solutions to common ERP platform for all business functions. Develop proof of concepts to demonstrate the value, if required.
Understands both technical and functional design and brings perspective from all domains (process, application, integration, data, technology and security) into the solution.
As a solutions expert in cross functional supply chain modules, should be able to understand the design impact of any new or existing solution and highlight the risk/awareness across business functions and IT teams including development and integration
Implement best practice in every phase of ERP life cycle right from solution building, PRICEF development, change management, testing etc
Guide business customers through business case development for new applications/functionality to understand value proposition, cost / benefit analysis and risk / impact analysis.
Oversight on test plans, test cases, test automation, directs method of testing and assure proper user acceptance testing before go-live of any solution.
Validate change requests for production support in above process streams, challenge the solution options or development methods, if required
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in SAP implementations, rollouts and enhancing solutions in supply chain space with at least 2 full life cycle implementations in SAP PP modules.
Demonstrated experience in process designing, solution building, PRICEF developments, cross functional impact analysis with end to end business process knowledge in Procurement, inventory & Planning/Production modules.
In-depth understanding in configuring and designing SAP systems and interfacing with other ERP systems in Procurement ,inventory & Planning/Production
Process improvement and design capabilities.
Experience in report building and knowledge of SAP BI/BW
