Data Security Ops
Location : Alpharetta, GA
Duration : 6 Months CTH
Rate : Negotiable
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in Data Protection projects and initiatives
Manage a server farm of scanners in different domains, that scan vast data lakes of unstructured data.
Create Change Request, Schedule scan and index operations and analyze scan failures.
Manage the configuration and testing of business rules around correct handling of data.
Help with data discovery efforts on premise and in cloud.
Work closely with business units to gather and manage remediation metrics.
Work closely with business units to review and understand Data Protection and Data Governance requirements for new and in-flight projects and initiatives,
with ability to articulate the impacts clearly and concisely, while also offering practical suggestions as to remediation activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Collective IT industry experience of 10-12 years.
Hands on working experience with implementing configuration, build, deployment and release management best practices.
Capable of aggregating data and producing reports for representing status and results.
High level understanding of Network and Storage solutions(HNAS, NETAPP)
Experience administering Windows application servers, web servers and databases(Microsoft IIS, SQL server, .net )
Must have Strong scripting and automation skills (Powershell, Golang, Perl, Python)
Experience with configuration management, deployment automation systems and concepts(Rundeck, Jenkins, Chef)
Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, domain trusts, firewalls, credential management tools(CyberArk, Hashicorp Vault) etc.
