Our client is looking for a Senior Quality Architect or Lead in Vernon Hills, IL for a 6-12 month contract
This role is a senior test leadership role with wide strategic scope
You will assist in the creation, development, and implementation of an automated testing framework
Primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for the testing organization with a specific focus on improving manual testing and automation testing.
You will assist with modifying of the test data management process.
Sr. Test Architect understands testing at a very in-depth level and can be responsible for:
o Designing test frameworks for test automation and testing in general
o Directing and coordinating the implementation of test automation and other test tools
o Designing test environments
o Providing guidance on the selection of the most effective test design techniques in a given situation
o Providing guidance on technical types of testing such as performance testing and security testing
o Designing methods for the creation of test data
o Coordinating testing with release processes
REQUIREMENTS
Must have experience with automated software testing tools
Must be proactive and able to work independently and/or within a team
Must have experience in developing, collecting, and reporting quality metrics via dashboards
Must have strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
Must have experience developing automation frameworks using Selenium / JAVA.
Must have experience creating test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
Experience in an Agile and/or Dev Ops environment
Experience in Cross Application End to End Testing design a plus
Impact analysis experience a plus
