Description:
-Build development productivity tools to improve build/integration/test process, streamline our workflow on development, build, integration and deployment
-Stay abreast of industry best practices and collaborate with other engineers, system administrators and architects to constantly improve our development/integration/testing/deployment workflow
-Extensive experience in build, test, deployment and monitoring tools and automation frameworks, specifically for Java web application and services. They include Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet or Chef, Docker and other AWS deployments.
-Strong knowledge of UNIX system administration and scripting languages to independently setup/teardown development/integration environments
-Strong background in Java based software development
-Extensive knowledge of Oracle DB administration, RDBMS schema and SQLs
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience Required:
· BS in Computer Science or higher
· At least 5 years of web software development field, with 3 years focused on DevOps and automation tools
Physical Requirements:
· Near constant computer work
· Must be willing to take periodic night shifts to support global online auctions
