Candidate must possess the following technical expertise:
MUST have hands on experience with the SAP BusinessObjects
Designer product and must be able to build universes from the ground up in both dimensional and transactional schemas.
MUST be able to build complex reports in both Desktop Intelligence (full client report tool) as well as Web Intelligence.
Tailor work processes, techniques, methods, and practices to meet project requirements.
Reports on work accomplishments and identify implementation issues in a logical, clear, and thorough manner.
Ability to gather business requirements and translate it to technical specification
Assist business users with UAT
Ability to train business users on BI tools and technologies
Technical Skills:
3+ years of hands-on experience with designing, and building contents with SAP BI Tools (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, dashboards)
2+ years of hands-on experience with designing and building Universes (IDT or UDT Must be able to build Universes for both dimensional models and transactional systems
Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL
Understanding of star schemas and data warehouse methodologies
Pluses:
Experience with ETL Tools (SAP Data Services or Informatica)
Experience with SAP BI 4.x, architecture / install
Experience with newer SAP BI tools (Design Studio, Lumira, Explorer)
