Overview: Client  is looking for an Administrative Assistant for Web Performance Americas. The right candidate must have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. He/She must be able to work with high integrity and efficiency, monitor complex plans and schedules, maintain the confidentiality of information and use discretion and judgment in discussing information about Akamai. The qualified candidate will be action-oriented with strong organizational, planning, time management, and pre-emptive skills. This role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure, work independently as well as on a team. He/She must be able to assess and anticipate the VP’s  needs and be comfortable with making independent decisions. In addition, the Assistant will also support a team of Directors and assist with special projects to fulfill organizational and departmental objectives when needed. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for: * Interacting with various stakeholders, internal or external to Akamai, on behalf of the Web organization as appropriate. * Understands the executives and organizational goals and objectives to effectively anticipate deliverables and follow up when necessary.  * Utilizing strong organizational skills, manages all aspects of multiple VP’s calendars, being attentive to priorities and optimal use of time. * Coordinate and arrange all domestic US and global travel including airline reservations, ground transportation and accommodations. * Work closely with other Administrative and Executive Assistants for calendar coordination, meeting facilitation, etc. * Ensure organizational charts and distribution list are current and ready for utilization always. * Office administration duties which may include: Working with corporate services/facilities on ordering of office supplies; support for overall office operations, copier/printer support, office security. * Create, augment, update, maintain and circulate (as directed) reports, presentations, worksheets and charts using Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. * Provide administrative support to multiple VP’s to include travel requests, calendar management, expense reports, customer visit coordination and other ad-hoc duties as required.  
Required Skills* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Administrative role* Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook* Minimum of 5 years’ supporting a senior executive, in a fast-paced and dynamic High-Tech environment. Desired Skills* Must be a highly motivated go-getter, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, while maintain composure under pressure Ability to learn new software applications to improve the productivity of the Exec Admin and Executive Willingness to be available off-hours* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships.
