Job Description :
Senior Finite Element Analyst (FEA)

Essential Functions (Responsibilities)

Develop high fidelity finite element models, with emphasis on ASME Sec VIII Div 2 and Div 3 analysis requirements including elastic-plastic, global plastic collapse, ratcheting, thermal, fatigue and fracture mechanics analysis

? Execute and provide guidance for the analysis / evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirements
? Work with product and design team to ensure that proper boundary conditions are being considered
? Gather material characterization data/models for materials
? Responsible for analyzing behavior under temperature, fatigue and other conditions as required
? Relate analytical results to real world performance
? Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or
tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
? Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements, schedules
and contract commitments
? Develop action plans to anticipate and respond to problems


Requirements:
? Bachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering
? Minimum experience of 12 years running Analysis / FEA experience
? Knowledge and understanding of ASME Sec VIII Div 2 and Div 3 requirements
? Oil & Gas industry


Desired:
? Prior Oilfield Experience
? MS or PhD degrees preferred
? Knowledge of API 17TR8
? Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentation skills
? Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
? Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
? Clear thinker with ability to develop, communicate, and deliver clear strategy and action plans
? Ability to sort through information and make timely and sound decisions
? Knowledge of hyperelastic models
