Job Title: Financial Analyst

Position Summary:

Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting.

Job duties and responsibilities for this position will include the following:

* Prepares analyses and reports for department managers.
* Works with two assigned organization units (EBU and PS) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecast, and statistical reporting.
* Prepares monthly statistical reporting, including financial performance, margin analysis, variance explanations, and cost analysis for EBU and PS.
* Prepares monthly forecast for EBU and PS, including providing bridge and explanation for the changes.
* Manages warranty accrual/expense process in coordination with warranty group. This position will be the main contact point for questions related to warranty.
* Prepares entries related to assigned organization units (warranty, cross charge, misc. adjustment for EBU and PS) during month-end close.
* Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts.
* Executes special projects as assigned.
* Supports team members through transition as needed.

Position Requirements:

* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required for this position. Manager would like to see candidates with degrees in Accounting, Finance and/or related disciplines
* Minimum of 4 years financial and/or accounting experience required
* Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
* Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data
* Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting
* Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software. While it''s not required, manager would like to see candidates with experience in Oracle and SQL.
* Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
* Ability to work independently and manage one''s time

Additional information from the manager:

* This is a Monday Friday, 40 hour per week position. Manager shared she can be flexible on the start/end times for this person as long as 40 hours is worked each week. Overtime may be needed on occasion during times of month-end close or forecasting.

* When the manager is ready to interview, she will first be conducting phone screens. Candidates who do well on the first screen will be asked to come in for an on-site interview.
