Job Description :
The Web Publisher at Akamai is charged with overseeing, approving, and creating content for Akamai Digital Properties. He/she will be responsible for building and maintaining web content, interactive tools, and online experiences that build the Akamai brand and generate new business opportunities. As a Web Content Publisher, you will be responsible for:   Create, develop, and manage content for the Akamai web properties utilizing the web content management system (SDL Tridion Analyze and coordinate digital projects requests for Akamai web properties (primarily Akamai.com, or other microsites) and work with the global marketing team to schedule web content updates. Focus on content review and consistency in design and brand messaging when working through the content provided by the global requestors. Curate the overall Akamai digital customer experience, to maintain a consistent tone and branding throughout all web properties. Excellent troubleshooting skills; identifying issues with the web content management system or content to be deployed and flagging them, ensuring timely resolution. Analyze and recommend content management system/process improvements and work with web development/QA team to review and implement. Develop understanding of the Akamai Digital Marketing Ecosystem and contribute to Akamai.com enhancement plan. Keep current with emerging web technologies and be always willing to add to existing skill set.     About the Team   The Corporate Marketing team brings the Akamai brand to life. The team is responsible for creating and evolving the Akamai Digital Marketing Ecosystem and brand story while ensuring consistency across the globe. We do this through integrated global campaigns that include internal and external corporate communications and events, social media, Akamai web properties, and thought leadership campaigns.   Required Skills: Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.   Top Skills Needed for the role: Skill 1 – Experience with website content management tools, preferably SDL Tridion, or another component based platform. Skill 2 – Experience with web content translation/localization processes and managing multiple global websites. Skill 3 – Basic working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
