Position Title:
Training Development Associate/Instructional Designer
Manager notes: This is more of a support role vs developer. Lactora experience highly desired, comfortable with MS Word and Excel. Strong written and can articulate- strong grammar is very important. Someone comfortable working within a team. Not designed for a solo role.
Location: Waukesha, WI
Role Summary/Purpose:
Work directly with the Waukesha Training Development team to provide support with ongoing training development projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Development and testing of new eLearning modules using eLearning authoring software (Lectora)
? Contribute to the development of multiple language online tests (other language skills not required)
? Provide project support with development, reformatting and testing of online content
? Provide project support with reformatting and content updates to existing curriculum
? Clear documentation of project deliverables including managing timelines and expectations at all times
? Various other duties as assigned to support the training center
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Associates degree or higher
? Preferred background in IT, Instructional Design, Multimedia, and/or Educational Technology
? Minimum 2-years prior experience in professional office setting (can include internships)
DESIRED:
? Experience developing digital training content with e-learning authoring tools (preferably Lectora; if not other tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
? Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM
? Experience with MS office preferred related to: publishing, mail merge and data entry forms
? Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to visualize, articulate and express ideas clearly.
? Strong organization and time management skills required to handle multiple tasks, in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to resolve routine problems, test and troubleshoot e-learning content independently
? Strong Analytical Skills
