JOB DESCRIPTION :



Responsibilities

The IT Lead & Architect will be responsible for leading the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of IT functional solutions. The IT Lead & Architect will apply deep functional expertise and client handling skills in order to ensure engagement productivity, increase efficiencies for clients, resolve issues and overall client satisfaction.  The IT Lead & Architect will work under minimal supervision, will be responsible for, and will be required to oversee the work for ServiceNow project implementation.



The IT Lead & Architect will be responsible for implementation of a centralized IT Service Request Management System for a large IT enterprise.  The IT Lead & Architect is responsible for collecting customer requirements including Process and existing Technology, and adapting a set of ITIL based Processes and Procedures to meet the customer needs.  In addition, the IT Lead & Architect will develop and implement SW configuration requirements that will provide technological enablement and automation of the target Processes within the large-scale IT Enterprise.   Successful applicant should understand the ServiceNow Toolset, its capabilities and limitations, and integration with key 3rd party ERP, Monitoring and Security systems.



The IT Lead & Architect will be responsible for engaging and collaborating with other IT Leads and Architects to ensure that integration across workstreams and across the technology platforms is cohesive and meets the customers end to end requirements. 



Specific Functional duties include:


Gathering requirements directly with the customer
Understand and employ target ITIL based processes and existing client requirements processes
Perform quality reviews to ensure requirements are documented properly
Develop overall process, transaction, and reporting system design
Writing functional requirements for systems implementations and system test scripts
Influence and collaborate with the customer to gain approval of the requirements and design
Conduct joint client and project team sessions to drive acceptance and completion of project/contract Deliverables
Configure ServiceNow to implement Service Requests per the requirements and design
Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT), including test script creation, execution and signoffs
Organize and assemble needed resources (internal and external) required to develop a solution/proposal/deliverable
Deploy the ServiceNow configured system to Production
Develop and maintains strong client and account team relationships


Specific Project Leadership duties include:


Develop detailed Project plans and integration of these plans into the overall Program level workplan
Accountable for execution, monitoring and control of project plans, budgets, including verification and validation of project deliverables for quality and completness.
Accountable for internal and external project progress reporting including presenting project progress to the client
