Mandatory Skills*


·         Enterprise System Administration experience with PTC Windchill PDM Link 11.1 (Rehosts, Update, Upgrade, Patching, Clustering, Replication, Vault Configuration and management, Method Server/Server Manager log review and troubleshooting; Application Performance Management/Monitoring; Perform code deployments and configuration changes at the system level)

·         Should have good hands-on experience in Unix/Linus OS.

·         No need of any Java/Customization experience.

·         Should have L2/L3 technical support experience and should know how to work with PTC to get help and troubleshoot system admin issues.

·         Should be strong in doing root cause analysis using various PTC logs and suggest betterment ideas for recurring issues.

·         Should have good oral and written English communication skills

·         Should be a team player as well as an individual contributor












Preferred Skills*


·         Windchill Business and CAD administration knowledge

·         Incident/Problem management using Service Now

·         Working knowledge with Oracle DB , basic SQL queries, Unix Shell scripting is desirable

·         Well versed with Incident and Problem management and performing root cause analysis












Job Roles/Responsibilities*


·         Team management

·         Coordination with client, onsite and offshore teams

·         Monitor emerging issues and identify solutions.

·         Suggest process and continuous improvement ideas and work towards the same.

·         Participate in projects to address process modifications and continuous improvement projects

·         Be able to understand the enterprise data and make adjustments as needed.

·         Troubleshoot system issues with super users based on ticket entry.

·         Provide 7x24 on-call rotation support at offshore with on-call support during US hours at onsite.

·         Determine root causes of problems and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences

·         Document, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Windchill software as per client specifications and at the direction of the customer

·         Management of log files

·         Manage IT technology refreshes

·         Participate in customer reviews requiring server impacts or temporary outages

·         Perform recovery and restoration of servers

·         Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot problems, and systems documentation
