VoIP Engineer / Network Engineer

Montgomery, Alabama

This is a Network Engineer role with strong VOIP and Cisco technology experience.

Candidate must be CCNP certified.


Provide support, troubleshoot and resolve issues on VoIP Network
Provide support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with Cisco Unified Collaboration Suite
Provide support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with Cisco IP Phones.
Provide support, troubleshoot and resolve issues with SIP Trunks.
Provide support, troubleshoot and resolve issues with Voice Gateways.
Perform maintenance on VoIP Appliances by applying patches, upgrades and performing backups.
Troubleshoot, resolve issues and implement new configurations on Cisco UCS Chassis and all Systems within the environment.
Provide after-hours support when necessary to complete project tasks or incident resolution during on call rotation.
Perform packet captures and analysis to assist in the resolution of issues
Associate degree in Information Technology with a minimum of 8 years'' experience working in Cisco Environment with experience in at least two of the following areas: LAN, WLAN or VoIP; or a minimum of 10 years'' experience working in Cisco Environment with experience in at least two following areas: LAN, WLAN, or VoIP.
The candidate must have Cisco Certified Network Professional (Voice or Collaboration
Packet Capture and Analysis; LAN Switching ; OSPF, EIGRP, BGP  Cisco Unified Communications Manager o SME, ILS, GDPR o Centralized IM&P ; Cisco Unity Connection ; Cisco Unified Contact Center Express with Social Miner ; Cisco Prime Collaboration Deployment/Provisioning/Assurance ;Cisco Unified Attendant Console Advanced ; Cisco Unified Border Element ; Cisco Telepresence Management Suite w/ Provisioning and Exchange extensions ;Cisco Meeting Server ; Singlewire Informacast ; Cisco Expressway ; Cisco Webex Teams/Meetings ; Cisco DNA Center with SDA o LISP, VXLAN;Cisco Prime ;Cisco Client ;OTV ; Nexus 7K, 9K ; Cisco UCS B and C series ;PKI, SSO, LDAP, SQL ; Linux management ; Python scripting with a focus on REST and SOAP API usage ; Bulk data management and statistical analysis
