JOB DESCRIPTION :
Minimum Requirements:
o Highly technical knowledge of decision support solution (e.g., SAS) configuration, administration, internal structures, physical data structure design concepts, database access and query languages
o Experience in development, production support processes and problem resolution according to service-level agreements
o Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts and delivery methodologies
o Highly technical and strong SAS code performance and tuning skills
o Must possess excellent communication skills
o Must possess ability to work independently and in a team environment
o Must possess excellent investigative and problem solving abilities
o 10+ years SAS programming experience
o 5+ years advanced hands-on experience with Shell scripting
o 5+ years of experience in database design
o 5+ years of enterprise warehouse data modeler experience
o 5+ years strong experience with decision support code (e.g. SAS) creation and tuning
o 5+ years of experience with BI or Data Warehouse projects
o 5+ years of experience with Linux, UNIX and Windows
o 3+ years strong experience executing multiple technical projects through a SDLC
o 2+ years of experience with BI analytical tool (e.g. Tableau, SAS EG) experience preferred
o Must be proficient with MS Office ''07 (or higher) - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
o Retail Industry is preferred
o Teradata experience preferred
o Hadoop preferred
o Spark experience is a definite plus
o Working knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle is a definite plus
o DB2 experience a definite plus
o Knowledge of Cybermation is a plus
o Knowledge of R is a nice to have
