Jr. Xamarin Developer,

Eagan, MN

Description:

Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.

Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.

Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.

Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications.

Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration. 
Participate in SCRUM/Agile software development process
Work with product owners to define and document User Stories including Acceptance Criteria
Use DevOps to efficiently work 
Work with software team members to integrate the mobile solutions into the IoT end node offering
Document designs, and create architectures to create field facing mobile applications that will interact with Ecolab’s dispensing and IoT equipment
Design, Develop, and test software written for Xamarin/Mono applications utilizing Linux, Windows, or MacOS
Work with team members to Integrate software and hardware developed at separate Ecolab locations.
Work Schedule: full-time, standard business hours. / Eagan Campus 

Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
Basic knowledge of niche computer software, such as Oracle, Csharp.net, Lawson, etc. 

Education/Experience:
Bachelor''s degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
2-4 years experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering
One or more years building solutions using Xamarin or Mono framework(s)
One or more years developing applications utilizing C#
Two or more years developing software projects in a professional environment
Developed software projects for at least one of the following Operating System: Linux, Windows, or MacOS
