Description:
Responsibilities:
Write complex ETL and Analytics programs using SQL
Develop and maintain SSIS packages related to the ETL process using SQL Server 2016
Responsible for data profiling as well as SQL and database tuning / optimization
Identify the data sources needed to build BI solutions such as interactive dashboards to solve those business problems
Perform day to day troubleshooting of issues related to QA and Production
Design ETL audit control and scheduling processes. Automate validation of data accuracy.
Help develop testing and implementation strategies, conduct appropriate functional and performance testing to identify and resolve process bottlenecks and data quality issues
Participate in SCRUM meetings, technical review meetings with team and/or client as required
Responsible for providing accurate and timely communication of the status of assignment, job responsibilities, and the resolution of problems to the appropriate parties following established policies and procedures
Creation of data marts, MOLAP and Tabular cubes, and other data marts/data structures as required
Assist with data modeling
Must be willing to be part of a 3rd line of support for off-hours availability
Qualifications:
Must have proven MS SQL/BI stack experience with SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MDX Designs; significant, relevant development experience populating data objects using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) cubes, relational dimensional databases, SSAS data mining models, SSIS and MDX.
Experience designing and developing BI visualization reports such as dashboards, reports using SSRS, PowerBI reports, and/or using other visualization reporting tools like Tableau
Requires strong communication skills
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor''s Degree (or higher) preferred or 3 years proven experience
Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics is a big plus
