UX Interaction Designer

Atlanta, GA only Locals

6+ Months Contract



Description

You will be responsible for the User Experience and Interaction Design work on a number of projects varying in size and complexity. Your primary mission is to understand the behaviors and needs of users and business requirements transforming your understanding into intuitive solutions in an enterprise platform.

Responsibilities

·        Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, UX Managers, and other key stakeholders.

·        Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

·        Rapidly iterate design prototype concepts and flesh out details of the design approach.

·        Apply a variety of UX approaches (sketching, wireframes, journey maps, mind mapping, etc to help facilitate team understanding of design direction.

·        Direct designs toward a common vision within a design system framework.

·        Work with Analysts and Researchers to support research and user testing to validate ideas.



Qualifications

·        A minimum of five years of Interaction Design/UX experience.

·        Experience with Responsive UI Frameworks.

·        Has a solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns

·        Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies.

·        Able to work lean and smart; design right amount of fidelity for the phase and needs of stakeholders

·        Able to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work.

·        Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills (the ability to effectively sell an idea

·        Familiarity with UX Research Methods



Experience with:

o  Microsoft Office

o  Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc

o  Axure Pro

·        Familiar with UI Frontend technologies:

o  Material2 Design UI Framework

o  Other UI Frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, etc

o  HTML5

o  CSS

o  Angular 6.x

o  Java 8
