Office 365 Enterprise Mobility + Security Cloud Engineer
PURPOSE
The Cloud Engineer position applies technology solutions with varying degrees of complexity for internal use by our corporate functions. This position will be an important member of our cloud team. Responsibilities include design and implementation of cloud infrastructure associated with End User laptop and mobile experiences using the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security suite of products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES:
Experience using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative technical solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, driving data-driven decisions
Develop and implement cloud solutions supporting End User Laptop and Mobile environments
Define the operational processes to effectively manage the Microsoft cloud environment
Pragmatic approach to deploying and supporting End Users via the Microsoft Cloud service offerings.
Provides technical leadership in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Cloud Solutions as well as Microsoft Windows 10 laptop environment
Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
Collaborates with stakeholders to understand emerging business needs and opportunities.
Build strong relationships with business and technology partners
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent applicable experience
4+ years of IT experience, at least 1 in infrastructure/operations roles
Must have 1+ years of experience with running production application infrastructure in the Microsoft Cloud supporting End Users - specifically Azure AD Premium, Intune device management and Windows 10 device enrollment
Experience with Windows 10 and Mac OS X desktop operating systems as well as iOS and Android mobile operating systems
Experience with security concepts and technologies (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewalls, multi-protocol gateways and VPN
Experience building and ongoing administration with DevOps pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, SCCM and PowerShell
Experience with agile development methods such as SCRUM, XP, and/or SAFe Agile (bj268u)
KNOWLEDGE OF
Microsoft Autopilot
Laptop hardware management and troubleshooting
Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and Azure beneficial
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and other adjacent services (DNS, DHCP, SMB)
Familiarity with network security, encryption technology, and troubleshooting network issues, especially Cisco Meraki
Security gateway configuration beneficial as would experience with security testing
Configuration Management and Asset Management Databases
