Job Description:



The Senior Content Writer produces on-brand, relevant, strategic and human-centered content. He/She
works closely with writers, designers and developers to write, edit and manage a variety of projects
across a full spectrum of channels.



Primary responsibilities
Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist to maintain a communication style that establishes
our brand identity and ensures it’s recognizable throughout all products and communications
Write and manage content for in-development software, online platforms, marketing website,
instructional manuals, user guides and training materials
Organize and complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding clarity,
conciseness, style and tone
Mentor Associate and Content Writer team members under the direction of the Senior Content
Strategist
Acquire product and process knowledge by interviewing subject-matter experts and working with
design and development teams
Work collaboratively to develop creative solutions and strategies for business challenges
Assist with other assigned duties, as needed



Skills/Knowledge
Strong portfolio of writing samples demonstrating excellent writing communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Can work independently to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proven track record translating complex concepts into easy-to-understand, user-focused content
A team player with a “can-do” attitude
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Can write clear and engaging content across a variety of channels and shift tone of voice to suit
individual user needs and wants
High attention to detail



Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, Communications or related field, or have equivalent work
experience
10+ years experience writing for software/web/mobile application development
Experience with a SaaS software company or health insurance industry a plus
