Sample Tasks

? Provide expertise and assistance in the development of system capabilities including determining technical requirements, testing, reporting, meeting state standards, modeling

? Act as lead to the MNCrash development staff

? Lead integration efforts with other state agencies, municipal and county police agencies, and third party vendors operating in the public safety space

? Advise other entities on how best to build interfaces with MNCrash.

? Design integration architecture that will interface with MnDOT, DPS, local RMS systems and GIS applications. 

? Analyze and aid in resolving potential integration problems and other technology issues

? Participate in research and related activities  

? Determine amount of work for program increments and sprints

? Complete other related tasks as assigned by the Project Sponsor and the IT Manger

? Provide knowledge transfer to state staff

Minimum Qualifications


Eight years of experience in Enterprise Architect role


A Master’s degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree substitutes for two years, or an Associate’s degree substitutes for one year


Four engagements lasting more than 6 months in Enterprise Architect role
Five years as lead developer
Three years of experience creating and architecting system and application solutions supporting multiple clients across multiple business units
