What is the specific title of the position Business Systems Analyst


LOCATION: Can be located in any of the following offices: Eden Prairie, MN; Boston, MA; Basking Ridge, NJ; Greensville, SC.

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment Business analyst as part of the Consumer & Eligibility Domain Product teams. Role Overview: SA who will engage with various levels of technical expertise and leadership spectrum to identify product needs, identify solutions, and communicate API product related plans under the Benefits, and/or Consumer & Eligibility delivery products. BSA will also develop detailed Product (API) design documentation including API message schemas , Processing Logic, Process Flows, Aggregation, Routing, Transformation, Error Handling logic, detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules.

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities - Experienced systems analyst with proven skills, good communications skills, and knowledge of the health care/insurance industry will be able to be become productive and deployed on project work with little supervision from the more experienced team member. What skills/attributes are a must have - self driven, previous experience working with APIs, API message schemas , Processing Logic, Process Flows, Aggregation, Routing, Transformation, Error Handling logic, detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules.

What skills/attributes are nice to have - working with one or more aspects of the System Development Life Cycle, experience in an Agile environment, experience working on mixed methodology program (Scrum interfacing with Waterfall from a dependency perspective)


REQUIREMENTS:
? 3+ years of working with one or more aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
? 1+ years of experience in an Agile environment
? 1+ years of experience working on mixed methodology program (Scrum interfacing with Waterfall from a dependency perspective)

? Provided guidelines for project stakeholders and resources on project priorities and task priorities within projects.
? Fully Proficient in interpret and eliciting business requirements
? Mentored resources in completing their tasks
? Anticipated business / product needs - capabilities and features
? Displayed and execute logical and complex troubleshooting methods.
? Provided application support to ensure that issues are managed to resolution
? Able to clarify a business/technology problem and determine feasibility of business requirements.
? Worked collaboratively with business partners, SMEs, Developers and Testers to ensure a shared understanding of business requirements
? Performed analysis of technology solutions options to meet the business requirements
? Documented solutions (e.g., functional, technical, reference, artifacts, data dictionary)
? Conducted mapping discussions, create technical mapping documents and/or user stories.
? Good understanding of applications and their upstream/downstream impact
? Partnered with Quality Engineers and identify test plans and metrics
? Performed system walk-throughs and design reviews with developers, testers, customers, stakeholders


Preferred:
? Healthcare experience
? Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and modern development practices
? Familiarity with tools like Splunk
? Participation in industry agile communities of practice

What are the work hours (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) - Regular

What type of interview process is preferred (Face to face, phone, Skype, or a combination of the three) - On site, but open for webex/phone interviews also
