Delivery Collaborator is responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments. The Delivery Collaborator Job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments. This position also works with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying, and updating software and environments. The Delivery Collaborator will assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release.
Role and Responsibilities
? Partner with the Product Manager & IT Delivery Lead and assist along the entire delivery pipeline
? Align with leadership to provide direction and coaching to the scrum teams
? Ensure cross-application stream coordination and collaboration
? Ensure cross-application streams are on target with their dependent deliverables e.g., APIs, test data, etc.
? Serve as an escalation for cross application impediment removal for scrum teams
? Work cross functionally to align strategy, methodology and execution
? Make sure release level milestones happen on time, e.g., create checkpoint documents, conduct Go/No Go, open change tickets, do ADR approvals, line up cross-application resources for the release, chair the release level meetings, etc.
? Work with program leadership to ensure that projects are setup correctly in PPMO and that hours are properly allocated to resources
? Provide metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level plans, progress and quality
? Facilitate alignment dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or between the team and other scrum teams
? Foster a team collaborative environment that tears down silos between groups act in a single voice
? Actively contribute to the company''s Agile and Lean Community through participation in the internal Agile Community forums
? Provide real time feedback to the methodology team based on experiences with software delivery teams
? Be a change agent and foster a learn by doing environment
Qualifications:
? Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
? 2-4 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
? 2-4 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
? 2+ years of experience working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects
? Formal training in project management practices preferred
? Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile Best Practices
? Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
? Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
? Experience with CA Central
? Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken form
? Solid interpersonal skills, passion around facilitation, empowerment, and servant leadership
