Application Developer-IV
Client Retail Payment Solutions (RPS) offers credit, debit and prepaid payment solutions to consumers and small businesses through Client and in partnership with financial institutions, businesses, governments and employers.
Client Retail Payment Solutions (RPS) is seeking a .Net Application Developer with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Engage in working across disciplines with associates in Collections, Compliance, Internal Audit, and various support groups to define and develop application and reporting solutions, improve workflow processes, and operating efficiencies. The right candidate will execute the technical design and development of complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms. May participate in some application architecture functions. Estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time. Creates and may review unit and test plans. Identifies opportunities to improve testing process. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk. Involved in developing application and reporting solutions by accessing and administering data in SQL server and Oracle databases, utilizing tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, C#, ASP.Net, SSIS, and Visual Studio to develop automated and interactive reporting and application solutions. Identifies and manages interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations. Conducts analysis of organizational needs for the development and implementation of application systems. Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions. Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects.
Working experience in:
- Using the C# development language, ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher in a production environment.
- HTML, JQuery, CSS, XML, JavaScript, XML
- Data warehousing, Business Intelligence concepts and tools preferably Microsoft Business Intelligence Tools. SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
- Database administration
- TSQL and PL/SQL programming, designing and creating tables, stored procedures, functions, SSIS packages
- Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
- Working in a structured IT environment
- Technical troubleshooting and problem solving
- Application development
- Modeling: data, process, events, objects
- Data mining
Agile development life cycle
Using Microsoft office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
Able to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines with limited supervision
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
