Required to obtain contractor support for Knowledge Management migration to a new system.

Manager''s team all have Instructional Designer titles - however these positions will be assisting with migrating PDF documents to a new system that requires HTML.


Position background What does this position accomplish for the business
Using an already designed process, assist in migrating between 6000-7000 PDF documents into HTML and loading into a new knowledge management system.

Position overview - What will the candidate be working on while on assignment
Using an internal Word to HTML conversion tool along with Microsoft Expression Web.

Please describe the team the candidate will be working with:
This team manages the current knowledge management application which houses between 6000-7000 PDF documents and multiple decision trees. The candidates will be working hand-in-hand with this team.

What are the top responsibilities for this position
Converting PDF docs, cleaning up conversion, applying CSS styles, and posting to the new knowledge management tool

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities
HTML (intermediate), CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), Microsoft Expression Web, familiarity with javascript

Candidate will need to have the ability to work with a virtual team and work in the Overland Park office.

What are the work hours
Flexible start between 7:00-9:00 AM (8:00 preferred)
Manager is only 3 hours south of Overland Park, and will be making periodic trips to OP. Will plan to be onsite the day these contractors start.
