Overview:
? Resource is required to provide test management support to our VACCN engagement, to include test planning, test preparation, test execution and defect management during implementation for stated client deliverables, Customer Service and Claims Processing.
? Role will provide test planning, test preparation, test execution and defect management activities for critical VACCN PI02 deliverables.
? Work will include interfaces for Provider, Eligibility, Referrals/Prior Authorizations, Claims o Interfaces will support Dental, Medical and Pharmacy for the stated RFP deliverables.
? 2019 testing schedule was reduced from 8 months to 4.5 months. This necessitated an increase in test resources.
Type of Interviews: Phone interviews and possible on-site in NJ or MD interview

? Providing dental, medical, Rx and claim processing for veteran''s that are unable to receive services in the Veteran''s Affairs Medical Centers.
Description
? Positions in this function are involved in developing and implementing efficient and effective test plans for new systems problems and/or enhancements. Includes understanding of QA methodology, processes and associated automated testing tools.

Demonstrate a fully proficient capability in the following primary responsibilities:
-Establish/implement/ensure quality and best practices
-Plan/configure testing environment/infrastructure
-Develop/maintain automated testing frameworks/infrastructure
-Establish/maintain software/hardware vendor relationships, if applicable (e.g., Oracle, Cisco)
-Design/develop test strategy
-Plan and create test data sets/scenarios
-Identify and mitigate risks/issues related to testing
-Ensure alignment of quality/test plans to business case/value
-Ensure availability of internal/external resources needed to complete testing projects (e.g., funding, staffing)
-Develop/implement automated test strategy and scripts
-Execute test cases/scenarios
-Provide support for automated test scripts/frameworks
- Define data requirements and create data for test cases
-Identify and analyze testing issues/defects
-Manage testing process/workflow to ensure that timelines and deliverables are met
-Ensure compliance with applicable testing standards and best practices
-Analyze documented defects to identify root cause and impact on related functions or product features
-Drive timely resolution of defects to meet release criteria
-Analyze and resolve identified risks/issues, including customer and technical impact
-Design processes for reporting and communicating test status
-Execute test status reports and communicate to appropriate audiences
-Communicate potential issues to appropriate audiences
-Document test results and ensure adherence to test reporting standards
-Define testing/quality metrics and drive consistent utilization
-Apply established testing/quality metrics and recommend enhancements as needed
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
? Overall experience of 3+ years in IT experience
? Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance experience
? Experience in data setup, test case creation, test case execution, create and update defects
? Experience with test case and defect management tools (HP ALM, Rally, etc.
? Experience with electronic file transfers and in particular claims
Additional Desired Skills:
? Types of Data: Knowledge or experience with provider, member, claim interfaces or data
? Technology: Knowledge or experience with X12, XML and other proprietary interfaces for the above types of data
? Business: Knowledge or experience with member lookups, provider lookups, referrals, prior authorizations, claim payment for medical, dental and/or pharmacy.
? Tools:
o Experience with Rally and/or HP ALM for test case and defect management.
o Experience with traceability of requirements and/or features to test cases and defects.
o Experience with automation tools, SOAP UI, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, etc.
