Primary Responsibilities:
High delivery focus leveraging multiple project management methodologies
Plan & Mange Programs/projects using Agile methodology
Have deep understanding of other project life cycles including waterfall and how to manage dependencies between Agile Scrum teams and waterfall life cycle projects
Play the role of Scrum Master / Program Manager (Servant Leader) as required on projects •Facilitate Scrum ceremonies as required
Identify the key stake holders and manage the expectations of key stakeholders and take their support to help resolve bottlenecks
Facilitate ongoing key stake holder communication between Business, Technology teams
Support weekly / monthly status reporting to key stake holders
Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
Plan/track all external team dependencies and help resolve bottle necks
Be well-versed with budget (capital & expense) management process and life cycle •Develop and maintain a resource/workforce plan that aligns with allocated budget
Drive solutions to unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
Facilitate/Participates in the development of delivery strategy
Predict emerging customer needs and facilitate developing innovative solutions to meet them
Drive organization initiatives including Agile maturity, automated testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery and documentation.
Understand big picture, while implementing at the detail level
Work with sometimes ambiguous / conceptual requirements and guide the technical team to provide functionality with the right amount of engineering.
Set and enforce standards
Work in a fast paced environment and deal with multiple priorities
Bring energy and excitement to the team
Mentor, train and coach team members
Required:
6+ years experience writing SQL Ad Hoc Queries
6+ years experience with MySQL database backup and restore
6+ years MySQL performance tuning queries
Preferred:
Experience with Percona or Galera
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and processes
