About the position:

The transition manager will work with the client teams to oversee vendor consolidation of AMS services across all application tracks, across business units and across geographies.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth transition of AMS services from current state delivery model to future state delivery model

Represent BUs and regions on AMS Transition team

Coordinate Transition work-streams activities across all BU’s and regions

Maintain an integrated transition project plan, including tracking all pre go live work streams

Maintain and escalate as necessary all risks, issues and action items

Support client engagement teams and other vendor stakeholders in the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of complex engagements

Monitor project progress and managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs

Track key performance indicators and create reports and presentations to be delivered to relevant clients and/or stakeholders

Ensure all parties on the project team understand the overall goal and the details of the solution

Have a thorough understanding of client configuration, identifying as a trusted resource for the client through the full relationship of the account.

Throughout the project, confers with clients/end-users on solution, offers beneficial alternatives, and acts as trusted advisor.

Develops and reviews project plan, determining key objectives, milestones, time frame, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.

Identifies key risks and issues and proactively communicates them to all parties of the project.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on time.

Directs and coordinates activities of Technical Account Analysts and other project team members to ensure project progresses on schedule and within standard delivery specifications.

Tracks, follows up, and supports all requests through to completion, advising all involved parties when a request is complete.

As the work spans across time-zones, the consultant is expected to participate in meetings/calls early in the morning, or late in the evening.

Key Activities:

Working with respective service providers and BU / region IT delivery teams, develop, maintain and execute against the agreed upon transition plan, including key milestones

Act as the single point of contact and escalation for all BU / regional transition related activities

Manage the transition and deliver within time and cost committed

Communicate the transition schedule and status to the BUs / regions and TMO

Be accountable for transition service quality

Ensure BUs / regions understands their responsibility in transition

Ensure service providers create and maintain all support documentation associated with the transition

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of Project Management expertise; preferably in a professional services and client service environment

Minimum of 8 years in Transition Services Execution for – Applications, Infrastructure, and BPO

Experience in defining strategy for Services Management combining company capabilities in innovation and digital experience

Experience in collaborating with Executive and Sales Unit Leaders to devise a working model to create sticky revenue and achieve annuity revenue goals for the company

Experience in restructuring Service Delivery Management Team while instituting controls over operational process and global delivery

A strong understanding of product and systems within the insurance brokerage service industry preferred

Demonstrated ability to execute and successfully achieve objectives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with excellent organizational, presentation, communication and meeting facilitation skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required;

Highly proficient with Microsoft Project. Minimum of five years of hands-on experience on MPP

Additional Requirements

Master’s/Bachelor''s degree in a business field from an accredited college or university

Certified Scrum Master – Scrum Alliance

Certified Scrum Product Owner – Scrum Alliance

Project Management – Prince2 Project Management Methodology (Practitioner & Foundations)
