What is the specific title of the position? EMR Implementation specialist

What Project/Projects will the candidate be working on while on assignment? Working with external clients to implement remote access so internal staff may review medical records.

Is this person a sole contributor or part of a team?
If so, please describe the team? This person will be part of a 6 person team. The team will be part of the CDSM department.

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?
Work with internal and external customers on basic account maintenance including activation, deactivation and auditing of Electronic Medical Record credentials.
Perform basic project management tasks related to implementing new external facilities into the business EMR program
Provide daily updates to tracking tools for reporting the implementation and operational progress
Troubleshoot web based and VPN connection issues and drive prevention of future defects. acting as the liaison between various teams internal and external.
Ensure quality assurance processes are implemented and followed driving toward very minimal defects.
Anticipate daily needs of the client/program.
Identify workarounds and potential solutions based on knowledge of EMR software as well as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities?
2+ years of desktop support, 1 year of customer service,
Basic knowledge and configuration Electronic Medical Record software.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite with focus on Excel, Word and Power point.
Knowledge of Salesforce, including data input and dashboard creation and reporting
Familiar with web browser configuration and troubleshooting including Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox

What skills/attributes are a must have?
Excellent oral and written communication skills including facilitation, influencing and negotiation.
2+ years of desktop support, 1 year of customer service, Proven ability to lead basic project tasks.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and basic account security



What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Experience in healthcare vertical including EMR, EHR, Health Systems, or HIE


Where is the work to be performed? This position will work from home.

What are the work hours? 8 hour day shift, starting hours flexible.
