Business Readiness Testing & Accessibility Project Analyst (Contract)

The Business Readiness Testing & Accessibility Project Analyst will be a key contributor during the design and development process by performing a variety of functions such as validating user stories, evaluating prototypes, performing business line acceptance testing and using assistive technology to ensure that prospects and customers with disabilities experience the same level of service and functionality as those without disabilities. The ideal candidate will apply existing guidelines, laws, regulations, and best practices to projects that exceed customer expectations and solve for business needs.

This resource will leverage subject matter experts across the Omnichannel team to validate that we are staying within our long-term product roadmaps and meeting regulatory requirements. In addition, this resource will partner with others to be sure customer communications and other business readiness activities meet our expectations for accessibility.

Daily Functions
\tServe as a digital accessibility SME for the evaluation and remediation of defects and issues.
\tReview code and output using manual and automated techniques to ensure accessibility compliance.
\tDevelop guidelines for architects, designers and developers to aid in compliance with Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.
\tEducate other contractors and employees on the use of assistive technology from the user’s perspective.
\tReview and consider accessibility and business line needs throughout the business line testing cycle.
\tTake ownership of defects uncovered during testing.

Basic Qualifications
\tBachelor''s or Master''s degree, or equivalent work experience.
\t3-5 years working as a business line analyst or equivalent function.
\t3-5 years of business line testing experience.
\t5 or more years using assistive technology on a regular basis.
\tProficient user of JAWS, NVDA, iOS VoiceOver, Mac VoiceOver and Android Talkback.
\t5-10 years working with people with varying disabilities.
\t3-5 years working with developers.
\tStrong knowledge of the implementation of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.

Skills
\tStrong business acumen.
\tBasic understanding of Retail Banking.
\tWeb and Mobile application fluency.
\tUnderstand design principles, guidelines and relevant policies, including web accessibility standards.
\tKnowledge of semantic HTML and CSS.
\tExperience in the appropriate use of ARIA markup.
\tStrong organizational, communication and analytical skills.
\tSelf-starter who can deal with ambiguity.
\tFearless networker who can work up, down and across the organization to cultivate partnerships.
\tKnowledge of product management principles a plus.
\tAbility to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data.
\tDemonstrated leadership skills.
\tKnowledge of JavaScript and Agile Scrum certification is a plus.
