Qualifications:
Qualifications for Experienced Data Engineer: Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience (6 years of experience equates to an Associate''s degree when defining "equivalent work experience”)
4+ years of development experience in data movement and analysis
Preference will be given to candidates who have a strong Software Development/Engineering background Additional preferred technical experience:
Cloud computing, data movement and analysis - AWS ecosystem
Database design - SQL, no-SQL, JSON, file and data tagging
Operational and Enterprise data, reporting data marts and services
Data processing and analysis - R and Python scripting
Data visualization - MS PowerBI
Data optimization
Data architecture, modeling, storage, mapping, transformation, utilization, analytics

Responsibilities:
Experienced Data Engineer who has a passion for turning large scale data into actionable intelligence. This role is great mix of combining programming and data in order to solve strategic business solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Handle large datasets, both clean and un-clean, and work with teammates to build technical solutions that are scalable, fast, maintainable and reusable.
Design, implement and maintain enterprise data warehouse in alignment with data and analytics vision and strategy.
Understand and aid in implementation of database requirements, troubleshoot issues, analyze and optimize performance.
Development and deployment of robust and scalable dataplatforms for advanced analytics and data processing.
Help architect, build and launch highly scalable and reliable datapipelines.
Accountable for leading and mentoring other team members in best practices, standardization and procedures around datawarehousing and development processes to ensure data quality and integrity
Research, maintain and evaluate emerging data engineering and warehousing technologies and solutions for continuous improvements to solve business problems.
