Job Summary
1. Will provide analytical and decision support to senior financial and Retail Supply Chain operational management. By developing, interpreting, and implementing key performance metrics for supply chain operations the Lead Consultant will assist in defining, designing and implementing these KPI’s. This will be a highly visible role, and the successful candidate will provide analytical support for major business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a “bigger picture” view of the business as a whole, with a strong understanding of Retail supply chain (or willingness to learn – Retail Fashion specifically), and be able to communicate effectively between all levels of the company. The candidate needs a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks, and successfully defend their recommendations when challenged.
2. Interview business users to extract requirements fulfilling upon both strategic and tactical information needs.
3. Ensures the development of innovative approaches, processes, and solutions that support Merchandizing Supply Chain strategies.
4. Consistently identify project challenges, effectively communicate them with the team, and continue to follow-up accordingly until a solution has been found.
5. Identify creative solutions while collaborating with the team and leading the implementation.
6. Independently identify work breakdown structures required to complete project plans and assist in development of project plans.
7. Skills - Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills and keen attention to detail, Advanced Analytics, Supply Chain KPIs,
8. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills and communication, preferable APICS CSCP Certification
9. Ability to interpret data and provide strategic analysis to highest levels of management
10. Experience with homegrown dashboards, SAS, PowerBI, Microstrategy, Tableau, SQL, SAP Hana, etc.
