Role description:
- Development/engineering leadership skills to coordinate development activities and guide offshore team for Services Requests (SRs) and smaller development changes
o Driver - achieve results and drive the team to complete change requests according to plan
o Complete technical design reviews and peer reviews
o Translate requirements from the business into technical terms so that the technical team can understand
- Solid JAVA/HTML/JS/CSS development skills
o Willing and able to contribute to research, enhancements, and bug fixes during the BSC business day when needed.
o Content management system familiarity is a plus
- Good communication skills – able to communicate clearly & understandably to BSC IT team, business stakeholders and offshore team. Able to adapt communication to audience as appropriate
- Agile methodology experience – working with an agile backlog, sprint based development schedule
- Teamwork – develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional areas including QA, SCRM, Business, and other Technical teams.
