Project Manager
To further strengthen our role as key market player, we are now looking to recruit a Contractor to fill the role of a TOS Infrastructure Sr. Program Manager.
The Infrastructure Project Manager will serve as the central point of contact and primary client interface and will be responsible for providing IT Consulting, IT Owner’s Representative Services and overall Program Management for technology intensive projects. The individual serving in this position should be capable of defining the technical approach to be used on a given project and be able to manage all aspects of the project from an Infrastructure perspective. Individual will be asked to manage teams that are located around the globe.
Infrastructure Project Manager, participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned project(s Assigned projects will be IT related in nature. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
\tDirects and manages Program activity for an assigned functional area – Infrastructure Integration
\tParticipates in meeting and task force activities to identify project goals, gains consensus on project steps, schedule and implementation procedures and estimates project costs; fosters cooperation and involvement from support team.
\tInterviews users to identify and analyze needs; develops a project plan and provides input to recommendations for request and/or problem resolution.
\tIdentifies internal and/or external resources to ensure successful project completion.
\tPrepares project status reports
\tActively tracks and maintains a detailed project plan in CA Workbench
\tAssists with or prepares project implementation steps and documentation as appropriate; ensures a smooth implementation of project; resolves problems.
\tParticipates in training users as applicable.
\tParticipates in project evaluation against estimated plans and costs; provides continuing support and service as required.
\tManages performance of project team, and evaluates overall performance.
\tExperienced in working in a matrix project environment.
\tProven track record of project delivery and success.
\tHas managed projects end to end – Scope to Implementation, including all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) within the PLC (Project Life Cycle
\tExperienced in issue resolution and risk management.
\tExperience managing highly complex, high profile, client facing engagements within time, budget, and scope.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience required:
\tProject Planning and Schedule Development (able to independently translate functional requirements into project plans) for multiple projects.
\tProject Resource Management to fulfill project requirements (both internal, third party, and client resources)
\tProject Implementation (able to effectively implement all project phases from inception to closeout)
\tProject Management (advanced knowledge of schedule, risk management, issues management, leadership
\tProject Budget Management (maintains and uses project budget and actuals tracking to ensure costs are maintained within the specified tolerance level)
