Project Manager - Systems
Open to candidates located in Naperville, IL, Overland Park, KS, but the preferred site is Minneapolis, MN.
Client Corporate Payment Systems is seeking an accomplished Project Manager with strong strategic and technical project management experience to drive complex, cross-functional initiatives which are core to meeting the organization’s objectives. The Project Manager participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of projects core to the strategy of Corporate Payment Systems. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature. The Project Manager interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs.
Responsibilities:
\tMethodology and Tools: Manages projects from initial concept through post implementation per methodology and via approved project tools.
\tRelationship Management: Builds bridges and relationships with key project stakeholders while serving as a liaison. Able to address issues via direct one-on-one dialog with project resources. Develops relationships with leadership of key project resources.
\tPlanning Control: Authors project management artifacts. Develops and maintains project plan(s Ensures project governance is established and observed. Recognizes, clarifies, and prioritizes project plan activities. Identifies, monitors and develops mitigation strategies for project risks.
\tCommunications: Authors effective (clear, concise, relevant) communications and presents the appropriate (tailored) messages to project stakeholders.
\tTeam Building: Determines knowledge and skill sets required to ensure successful project outcome. Promotes collaborative relationships across project team members. Works effectively across the organization to achieve goals.
