Finance Manager
Manages the preparation of financial and regulatory reports. Develops and directs the preparation of management reports which assist in the analysis of assigned business line performance. Analyzes assigned business line financial reports and provides recommendations to management based on findings. Develops, recommends, and implements accounting policies and procedures in response to new laws and regulations. Manages various finance/accounting projects or studies. Researches and evaluates financial alternatives, possible investments, or acquisition considerations. Makes recommendations to top management. Provides leadership, guidance and training to finance/accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities:
-Responsible for managing financial reporting, planning and analysis for assigned products.
-Develops and directs the preparation of financial statements, reports, budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience
- Five to eight years of experience in financial analysis activities
- Three or more years of management experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Extensive knowledge of financial analysis concepts and methodologies
- Expert knowledge of accounting theory practice, regulatory requirements and reporting
- Well-developed financial analysis, forecasting and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and Hyperion Essbase
- MBA or CPA preferred
- SAS and SQL
