Java/J2EE Spring Full Stack Developer

Project: Enterprise Preference Management Program (EPMP)

The person would be part of a scrum team working for EPMP. The current size of the two teams are 10 resources each.

PROJECT:

a. Enterprise Preference Management program (EPMP) is a blue chip program helping the Optum and UHC business to centralize the member''s contact information and preferences with an easy to use User Interface and Restful APIs.
b. We are working since 2016, and so far have integrated various UHC and Optum consumers supporting E&I, OptumRx and M&R populations. The team would continue working with new consumers and would integrate with almost all UHC and Optum portals and mobile applications that need contact information and preferences based functionalities.


TOP REQUIREMENTS: Java, J2EE and Spring experience

SOFT SKILLS: Communication skills, being proactive, and team player.

The selected candidate would be responsible for Understanding business requirements, help with creating and planning Scrum user stories and tasks, take responsibility of specific user stories and tasks and perform development, automated Unit Test cases creation and execution, build and deploy the code, and defect fixing.

The candidate must be well versed and hands on in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnit, Agile and Codehub.

Experience of development in a private/public Cloud environment would be preferred.


The position is for the Basking Ridge, New Jersey location.

Work hours in general would be 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. with occasional requirements of supporting releases and critical activities before and after the normal working hours and weekends.


The interview would be on phone/webex first, followed by a face to face if necessary.
