Database Programmer
Client is looking for an Informatica developer with five plus years experience. In addition to being a strong Informatica developer, the successful candidate will have blended skills not limited to:
Developing and understanding business requirements
Creating the data model conjunction with the data architect
Collaborating with the ETL architect to develop the method of how to code
Assisting the user community to devise and execute test plans
Writing documentation including project notebooks, source to target mappings, and all turnover instructions for the production support team.
Working closely with the business line and the production support team to debug code
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences or closely related subject
5 years of experience with the Informatica development suite
Extensive exposure to data warehouse procedures
Proven track record in star and snowflake schemas
Experience of working with the Agile development methodology
Experience working closely with a marketing, finance, compliance and risk departments
Working knowledge of banking regulations both internal to Client and also external as imposed by state and federal departments of oversight
Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and how it relates to the banking industry
Best practice for data exchange amongst Client systems and to third party vendors
