The Information and Technology Services (ITS) EFS Team, Sr. Oracle EBS Developer provides both technical and functional support to internal customers who use Oracle financial modules and works with the necessary resources in multiple departments in order to accomplish the job duties. 
The position requires the ability to effectively multi-task between providing operational support and working on ad-hoc projects. 
Ability to translate business needs into technical and functional requirements documents.
Ability to analyze business problems and suggest solutions.
Develop and implement strong Oracle financial functional support techniques and effective methodologies.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Ability to develop SQL queries, PL/SQL Programing and Good understanding of financial application setups/configurations. 
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Enterprise Testing - Support the coordination of Component / Unit Testing (dev), System Integration Testing (SIT), and pre-production User Acceptance Testing (UAT
Manage deployments for Coding in regards to the Oracle EBS Suite.
Lead and develop a high-performing Oracle Applications Support team.
Develop and execute an appropriate delivery team model (e.g resources, skills, process management) to meet current and projected needs / constraints.
Participate in the development and maintenance of an Enterprise Application Architecture as it relates to the Oracle EBS System.
Ensure the Oracle Applications Support team delivers on-time, on-budget, and high-quality solutions.

Type of Education Required: 

Bachelor''s Degree.

Type of Experience and Number of Years: 

12+ years of experience working with Oracle Applications (EBS), Databases and peripheral ERP systems.
Minimum 5+ years of Public Sector experience with encumbrance accounting.
Experience using Oracle EBS suite, specifically Oracle i-Procrement, Purchasing, i-Supplier, EAM, Accounts Payables and Project Accounting modules.
Knowledge of Procurement, Accounting, and Financial principles. Experience in Encumbrance Accounting and Public sector experience is required.
Experience tracking and reporting relevant metrics (e.g., productivity, progress, quality)

Qualifications and Requirements:

Functional and Technical knowledge and skills related to Oracle EBS Suite.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of information processing principles and practices.
Advanced knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws relevant to IT compliance and Public Sector Financials.
Advanced Functional Knowledge of the following Oracle EBS Modules o I-Procurement.

o I-Supplier  o Purchasing o Project Accounting. o EAM/Work Order Systems. o General Ledger o Accounts Payable

Strong SQL & PL/SQL skills (coding and disseminating
Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in organizational settings
Basic knowledge in core enterprise IT infrastructure.
Hands on management of Oracle Financials and Oracle Procure to Pay
