Job Description:
· Applies system architecture concepts and techniques to facilitate major technical decisions expressed in technical vision, strategy, and system architecture;
· Defines and leads analysis to align technical scope to project scope;
· Determines architecturally-significant requirements;
· Defines technical risks and mitigation strategy;
· Defines technical dependencies and dependency management strategy;
· Aligns solutions with enterprise architecture strategy;
· Defines requirements, designs and verifies robust architecture, data and information management systems and components;
· Establishes design constraints and ensures architecture conforms to requirements;
· Incorporates architecture functions into software development lifecycle;
· Leads the development and configuration management of architecture views and models;
· Assesses the feasibility of architecture solutions and alternatives;
· Performs trade-off analyses;
· Evaluates products to assess suitability for integration into delivery system environments;
· Drafts data and information management products and service standards;
· Assess impact of architectural decisions to product lifecycle;
· Monitors the implementation of architecture throughout the system development lifecycle and provides technical mentoring, guidance and clarification to other architects and technical implementation resources.
Primary Skills/ Technical Proficiencies :
· Experience in Linux, Windows
· Experience in Cloud Infrastructure Scripting including ARM/Cloud Formation, node, python, powershell
· Experience VM Configuration management using Chef, rspec, inspec
· Experience with high availability service configurations
· Experience in Azure
· Experience with deployment automation with tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker, GitLab and GitLab Runners
· Years of experience in testing including JUnit, Pester, rspec
· Networking construct familiarity with firewalls, NSGs, DNS, LDAP
· Development experience in Java, Bootstrap, Angular, generic Javascript, generic Comma Separated Style, emphasis on front end. (one level 3 resources needs these skills)
· Specify number of non-Azure migrations. Specify which clouds."
