Position: Network Support Engineer III
Contract to Hire Position
Start Date: Phone interviews start immediately
Hourly Rate- $45/hr
Location: Remote
This position will be a person who is a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, journey-level position.
This person will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
Responsibilities:
Day to Day tasks
Point of contact
Makes changes or updates to Reg/Global Mpls from DC / PoPs
Audits configurations
Serves as first level of approval for Rfcs
Fills out Rcas and responsible for corrective action
Documentation of accounts before they are live (Diagrams / traffic flow / ACL)
Circuit orders / Bandwidth changes / Working with Providers
Training L 2’s and L 1’s
Point of contact for outages on Gmpls
Escalation for Outages at DC / mpls
Experience/ Skills:
Typically requires 4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree and ccnp and additional advanced technical certifications; OR 6 years’ experience and ccnp Certification and additional advanced technical certifications
MUST HAVE FORTINET EXPERIENCE

Standard knowledge on datacenter design, technologies and practices
Basic understanding of VoIP technologies
Intermediate Troubleshooting
Ability to run and understand pcap from taps and ios/Firewall
Deployment Duties
