Position: JAVA WEB Developer
Duration: 12-24 months+
Location: SLC, UTAH
Interview Mode: Web cam Interview
100% Onsite role - No tele-commute / Remote option.
Preferably Locals or nearby candidates.
Full stack web developer with expertise in the development of websites and
applications. Designs, configures, diagnoses, repairs, upgrades, and
optimizes technical solutions in selected discipline(s) at a master
technical level. The project will directly involve strong internet web
programming, responsive design expertise, ADA/Section 508 design expertise,
Longitudinal Data Analysis expertise, JavaScript expertise, Java Web
Application expertise, and Oracle RDBMS knowledge.
Project Description:
This recruitment is staff augmentation for the following projects to meet
expected deliverables and time frames:
Re-brand/Redesign/Rewrite - Redesign of the largest website.
Other web development / application development, as requested.
Mandatory Requirements:
Develop fast, reliable and scalable web sites using HTML 5, CSS 3,
Bootstrap 3+, JavaScript, JQuery, and AngularJS while following the
established software development life cycle in a team environment.
Contribute design and applications architecture decisions while staying
within the framework of the existing applications.
Work with team members and stakeholders to implement user friendly,
intuitive, and accessible client interfaces.
Mentor and train other team members, where applicable.
100% On-site, Monday through Friday is required. Telecommuting / working
Remote is not an option.
Specific Needs:
Areas needing assistance include but are not limited to the following:
Development Assistance:
Web Programming: HTML5, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3), XML,
JSON, and other related technologies.
Responsive Design: Web responsive design, including knowledge of frameworks
such as Bootstrap 3 or above.
ADA Design: Development to accommodate ADA compliant design techniques
including knowledge of the ARIA specification and Section 508.
Javascript; JQuery and common JavaScript frameworks especially AngularJS.
Tomcat Application Server: Development and administration of Tomcat
Application Servers
Java Technology Knowledge: Java programming language, including but not
limited to Servlets, Servlet Filters, Junit, Maven, etc.
Java Developmental Frameworks and Environment: Must have experience in
development of Java Server Pages (JSP), MVC development including REST,
SOAP, JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL), Spring, and Hibernate.
Web Services: Including knowledge and experience in writing and working
with web services including Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) technology,
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), XML Remote Procedure Calls (XML-RPC),
Asynchronous Java Script and XML (AJAX) JavaScript Object Notation (JSON),
and Java APIs for XML Remote Procedure Call (JAX-RPC) technologies.
Expert working knowledge with relational databases, specifically Oracle.
Including designing, scripting and tuning schemas, tables, indexes,
triggers, functions, views, etc. Also, must have demonstrable experience
with PL/SQL.
