Position: Database Programmer Analyst
Location: Mililani, HI
Duration: 6 months with possible contract to hire
Description:
Identifies, researches, and analyzes data / reporting issues in order to develop solutions, Performs root cause analysis of issues including debugging ETL code, Experienced in eliciting, defining, writing, and managing business specifications, technical specifications, and other project documentation for applications development; Drives and assists with data analysis to improve operation including uncovering data anomalies and performing research of other forms of key operational data; Create ad-hoc extracts/reports using various tools to meet both internal needs and external requests, Working knowledge of MS SQL, and experience using Microsoft Access and Excel. Experienced in data warehousing/ business intelligence projects; Working knowledge of ETL tools such as SSIS etc. and Internet-based technologies, reporting tools, and client/server-based applications is highly desirable. Skills equivalent to 3-5 years in comparable position.
