Experience publishing mobile applications to Enterprise and Public Application Stores.
Experience integrating Open Source and 3rd party libraries e.g. Firebase, Crittercism, etc.
Computer Science or technical degree that includes instruction and experience with Object Oriented Design, Object Oriented Programming.
Developing UML, Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams. The developer should also have experience with development and executing Unit Test and Functional Testing using different toolsets. Mandatory that they know how to manage the full lifecycle of mobile development including memory management, memory analysis, CPU and Network Analysis. Experience with iOS Swift is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience with Biometrics is a plus
Implementing Web Services, mandatory.
Aware of different tools to test and integrate web services. Ideal candidate would be resident in Hollywood, Miami area.
If candidate has superior skills, travel may be accepted Mon-Thurs or Mon-Fri. Experience with GIT and other code repositories required.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU CAN EXPECT TO….
Take over responsibility for MedicFP’s mobile application development, focused on MedicFP’s Verify application and its associated server component. Initial tasks will involve a code review of the application, prioritizing and estimating feature requests and bug reports. You will work with a UI developer as your development partner and a Product Manager translating use cases to actionable stories. Your key day-today responsibilities will include:
· Crafting quality, well-tested code using rigorous continuous delivery methodologies, including automated functional and non-functional testing
· Extending and maintaining the client applications using Javascript and similar languages, with a focus on high-performance, scalability and resiliency in a service-oriented environment
Job Requirements
YOU HAVE…
· Strong coding abilities and experience with Android SDK (version 4.1 and up)
· 3+ years of software development experience building SOA-based applications with Java
· Strong experience with Object Oriented (OO) software design
· Memory Management (as it relates to Android devices)
· Multi-Threading
· Caching Mechanisms
· Integration with Google Play Services
· Advanced knowledge of mobile application design principles, practices design patterns and software life cycles.
· Thorough knowledge of project/task estimation and planning
· Experience with JIRA for sprint planning, issue resolution and source code management
