Science or Information Technology| Key Skill Sets Required: Interface
between Business and Technical Teams. Understanding of end to end Software
Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Experience in : Requirement Gathering,
Process/Data Flows Designs, Technical Spec design, Business Analysis,
Translating business requirements to technical requirements, Defining
Project Objectives, Feasibility Analysis, Supporting - Development, Systems
Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing, Creation and
Documentation of UAT test strategies/plans and test cases/scripts,
Knowledge of Manual and Automation Testing, Excellent communication and
analytical skills, Experience in Mortgage Industry.
Responsibilities include:
As Business Analyst gather business requirements, develop and document
business rules
Manage business requirements document
Develop Business User Acceptance test cases and data sets
Perform data analysis as needed
Solid understanding of business needs and detail requirements
Develop test cases, test scripts and perform user acceptance testing for
data application projects
Gather and document Business Operational Readiness Review document
Facilitate business requirements meetings and influence decisions
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data
requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of
current business trends
Have experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets using
statistical software
Solutions are innovative, thorough, and practicable
Works under limited direction
Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
Collaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to
meet business objectives
Review system requirements / spec to ensure business requirements are
translated correctly
Manage UAT testing
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Basic Requirements
Degree in Information Management, Computer Science or related field with
8+ years related experience
Worked in the business area or closely/directly with business are to
gather business requirements/rules logic and develop code.
5+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and
technical skills
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
5+ years of SQL programming experience
4+ years of SAS or similar programming experience
4+ years of data mart/database/ETL experience
Excellent SAS, Unix and SQL programming skills
Experience with database, data model and data warehouse concepts
Excellent communication skills
Loan Prospector, Loan Quality Loan Advisor suite application working
knowledge or similar applications
Loan Manufacturing process knowledge
Preferred Skills
Mortgage industry experience or financial / credit analysis
Solid communications skills verbal and written
Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
