Looking to hire a Senior Oracle database administrator. For senior level role, would be looking for someone with 8+ years of experience and 100% ON-SITE presence is anticipated.
Oracle database administration (need to know 11g at a minimum. Experience with 12c highly desired. See job description for DBA job duties)
This position will be responsible for monitoring and tuning database performance. It ensures that data is appropriately protected via database backup and related strategies. The position loads, or assists in loading of, database software, upgrade and patching. This position will also assist management with short/long-range planning for hardware and software changes and additions. This position will also administer Oracle 11g & 12c stand-alone, RAC(including Exadata), and FailSafe environments RedHat, & Oracle Linux (Exadata) platforms.
1. Ability to work effectively with Oracle DBAs, developers, and infrastructure teams to resolve problems with application/database systems.
2. Assist in normal database daily work requests for Oracle.
